Trump and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had a bilateral meeting shortly after Trump was welcomed to Riyadh on Tuesday.
The leaders spoke warmly about their relationship and Trump touted the investment that was going to be made in America by the Saudis during the first comments to the press this trip.
Bin Salman kicked off the meeting by greeting Trump and said the leaders would discuss “security” among other things.
Trump also praised his relationship with bin Salman, saying it has been a “tremendous relationship over the years.”
He later added, “I really believe we like each other a lot.”
